The app has been updated a couple of times since I installed it—once for a security patch and once with minor bug fixes. I didn’t notice any downtime or weird behavior. As for support, I haven’t needed to contact them directly because everything worked as advertised for me. But I did browse the App Store reviews out of curiosity, and I saw some complaints about slow responses from the team. Some people said they waited days for a reply about account issues. That’s always a red flag when you’re dealing with sensitive data—if something goes wrong, you want a quick fix. That means even if someone hacked their servers, they’d only get scrambled nonsense. The app also lets you encrypt your chat messages if you use the built-in messaging feature, which I don’t use much but it’s nice to have. The company is based in New Zealand and follows strict privacy laws there, which is comforting given how some US-based services handle data. One thing that gave me pause: they do collect some metadata (like IP addresses and usage logs) for service improvement, but they say they don’t share it with third parties.
