I’m not someone who reads terms of service, so take this with a grain of salt. But I did notice they ask for a ton of permissions — storage access, microphone location, even camera on first launch. I denied the camera and mic and the game still works fine, so that made me feel better. There’s also a login option using your email or Google account, and I used Google because I’m lazy. I get occasional promotional emails about new events, which I don’t mind. What creeps me out a little is the friend suggestion feature that seems to scan my contacts — I saw a coworker’s name pop up and I don’t think I ever shared my address book. That felt a bit invasive.
