I’ll be honest, the interface felt a bit dense at first. There’s a lot of information on the home screen. But after a week of poking around, it started to click. A specific moment that sold me was during a market dip last month. I opened the app, saw the “Market Pulse” feature had shifted to “Market in correction,” and read the accompanying analysis. It didn’t tell me what to do, but it gave me the context to understand *why* things were falling and reinforced the app’s rules about preserving capital. That practical, real-time guidance was worth more than any generic article. Navigating between my watchlist, charts, and news is now smooth, though I wish customizing the home screen was easier.

The app itself is free to download, which gets you access to basic quotes, some news, and delayed data. To get the real value—the real-time quotes, full IBD stock lists, and all the proprietary research—you need a subscription. I’m on the digital-only plan, which costs about $35 per month. It’s not cheap, and I hesitated at first. But comparing it to the cost of a single bad trade made from ignorance, I find it worth it. They do offer a trial period, which I’d absolutely recommend trying before you commit.
Updates & Support
The app updates fairly regularly, about once a month, usually with bug fixes or small interface tweaks. I haven’t had any major crashes. I had one issue where my watchlist wasn’t syncing across devices, so I used the in-app support chat. The response was within a few hours, and the agent was knowledgeable and solved my problem directly. It was a good experience, which isn’t always the case with financial apps.
Security & Privacy
I downloaded it directly from the official Apple App Store. The app requires a login for the premium features, which uses standard email/password security. They do promote two-factor authentication, which I have enabled. In terms of privacy, they clearly outline what data they collect (like usage patterns for personalization) in their policy. Since it’s a paid service from a established financial publisher, the experience is ad-light. I see promoted content for their own webinars or events, but not third-party video ads or anything intrusive. It feels secure for managing my investment research.
