For a tool that saves you so much time and walking, and actually helps you have more fun, it’s a no-brainer. I’d have paid a few dollars for it, honestly, but getting it for free feels like a win.

Updates & Support

This is my one real gripe. The app itself is great when the fair is running. They do push an update right before the event starts with the final map and schedule. But I had a question this past off-season about whether my ride wristband from last year would still work (it wouldn’t, obviously, but I had to ask). I used the contact email in the app. The reply took over a week, and when it came, it was just a link to the general FAQ page on their website. It felt kinda robotic and not very helpful. I wish they had a better system for answering questions, especially from people planning their trip.

I got it from the App Store, so I felt okay about it. When you first open it, it asks if it can send you notifications for event reminders. I said yes, and that’s been useful. It doesn’t feel like it’s snooping on me. I didn’t have to make an account or log in to anything, which I like. I’m just using it to see a map and a schedule.
