First Impression

I wasn’t expecting much, to be honest. I’d been using another streaming app for ages until it started freezing during every big play and the ads got unbearable. What It Does Well

Where It Falls Short

Not everything is perfect. The biggest annoyance is that stuff keeps disappearing. I started watching a replay of an old boxing match last Thursday night, and when I came back Friday evening to finish it, it was gone. No warning, no explanation. It just vanished from the library. That’s frustrating. Also, the app has a multi-view feature where you can watch two games side-by-side. On paper that sounds awesome. In reality, I tried it on my phone and the screens are so small I could barely tell who had the ball. Maybe it works better on a tablet or a TV, but on an iPhone it’s basically useless. Another thing — the search function is weird. I typed in “NBA” and it showed me some games, but not all of them. I had to scroll forever to find what I wanted. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s annoying when you just want to quickly get into a game.

Is It Worth the Price?

It’s free to download and then you pay a subscription. I’m still on my trial, so I haven’t paid yet, but looking at what you get, I think it’s fair. You’re not paying per game like some services, which is nice. If you watch a lot of different sports — boxing, soccer, MMA, baseball — it adds up. But if you only care about one league, maybe it’s not for you. I’m leaning toward keeping it because I’ve already used it more in three days than I did with my old app in a week. The streams work, the options are there, and I haven’t wanted to throw my phone at the wall. That’s a win in my book.

I had a small issue on day two. I signed up with an email and then couldn’t log in because I forgot which password I used — my fault, honestly. I reached out to support through the app’s contact form. I didn’t expect much, but a real person got back to me. It took about three days, which felt like forever when I wanted to watch a game that same night. But the response was helpful and clear. They sorted out my login issue and even pointed me to the reset link, which I must have missed. I appreciated that they didn’t just copy-paste some generic answer. Still, three days is a long wait when you’re trying to stream something live. If they could speed that up to a few hours, it would be perfect.

Privacy & Safety

Honestly, I don’t think about this stuff too much. The app asks for your location and some permissions, like access to photos if you want to share a clip. I said no to a couple of those and it still works fine, which I liked — some apps get pushy if you deny permissions. The login screen has a little privacy policy link, but I didn’t read it. I’m sure they collect data like every other streaming app. I did notice there’s no weird pop-ups or random ads asking for personal info, which makes me feel okay about it. Plus, I entered my credit card for the free trial and nothing sketchy happened. That’s about as deep as I go with this stuff.
