Updates & Support

I had an issue about two weeks in where the step count stopped syncing for a whole day. I emailed the developer through the Play Store contact option. It took about three or four days to get a reply, which felt kind of slow when I was annoyed about the problem. But when they did reply, the support person was polite and gave me clear steps to re-sync the watch face with the phone’s health app. It worked immediately after that. I haven’t seen any updates come through since I installed it, but the app hasn’t broken with the latest OnePlus system patch either, so that’s good enough for me.

Data & Privacy

To be honest, I didn’t read the privacy policy word for word because who does that? But I can tell you it asks for access to the watch’s sensors (heart rate, step counter) and location for weather. That’s pretty standard for any watch face app. I don’t think it’s uploading my health data anywhere shady because my phone’s privacy dashboard shows no weird background network activity from the app. If you’re super paranoid about privacy, maybe look deeper. But for a normal person like me just wanting a cool watch face, it feels safe enough.
