First Impression
The app presents a clean interface and smooth initial login process. The card art is crisp, and the starter pack opening experience is visually satisfying. However, this positive first impression is short-lived, as core functionality issues emerge shortly after beginning to use the app’s main features.
What It Does Well
When the servers are stable, the core concept is solid. The card designs are well-executed, with clear statistics and appealing player imagery. The variety of special cards and objective-based progression system offer meaningful goals. Squad building is intuitive, with a drag-and-drop interface and a chemistry system that makes logical sense. The pack-opening animation provides a brief moment of engagement.
Where It Falls Short
The app suffers from persistent technical issues that significantly impact usability. The transfer market frequently fails to process listings or complete purchases, resulting in lost coins without receiving items. Crashes during pack openings are common, negating the effort spent earning those packs. Squad Building Challenges are particularly problematic, with submissions occasionally failing and consuming the submitted cards without granting the reward. These issues are not isolated incidents but recurring problems that undermine the core gameplay loop.
Is It Worth the Price?
The app is free to download, which is its primary financial advantage. However, the real cost is in user patience and time, as the technical issues demand repeated troubleshooting. In-app purchases are difficult to justify when the app cannot reliably deliver purchased digital items. Ads are frequent and often appear immediately after crashes, compounding the frustration. The overall experience requires more tolerance than most users will find reasonable.
Developer & Support
Customer support responses are slow and often unhelpful. After reporting a significant bug that consumed submitted cards without granting rewards, the only response received was a generic suggestion to clear the cache. This level of support does not inspire confidence in the app’s long-term reliability or the developer’s commitment to resolving known issues.
