But since it’s free, it’s worth having if you own an HP printer. It saves me the trouble of walking to my computer and logging in just to print one thing. Is it perfect? No. But it does save me steps and time. For a retired person on a fixed income, free is a good price.

I’d prefer if they had a phone number I could call. Sometimes you just want to talk to a person.

I don’t love that you have to create an account. It makes me wonder what they’re doing with my information. The app asks for permission to access your photos and files. I get why it needs that to print and scan, but I still don’t like giving apps access to my personal stuff. My daughter told me to be careful about what I agree to. I read through the privacy policy once but it was long and full of words I don’t understand. I wish they would write things in plain English. I haven’t had any problems so far. No weird emails or charges. But I only use the app for basic things. I don’t link it to any cloud storage or other accounts. Better safe than sorry.
