Fuse - Match, Chat & Dating
What are Icebreaker Questions and how do they work?
Icebreaker Questions let you send a pre-written question to a match instead of a generic first message. This feature helps start engaging conversations, like asking about the best meal they've ever cooked, which can lead to real connections and even dates.
How does the Smart Matching algorithm improve my matches?
The Smart Matching algorithm analyzes your in-app behavior, such as which profiles you engage with, to show you more relevant matches. This means you'll see fewer mismatched profiles and more people who align with your preferences like distance and dating intentions.
Why can't I see the Event feature on my app?
The Event feature may be available only in certain cities or at specific times, so check the app's events tab periodically for upcoming virtual coffee chats or other gatherings. If it's missing, ensure your app is updated to the latest version from your device's app store.
My profile isn't getting verified even after uploading a photo. What should I do?
Make sure your verification photo is a clear, well-lit selfie that matches your profile pictures. If the issue persists, try restarting the app or contacting Fuse support through the settings menu for manual assistance.
How does Fuse compare to Tinder in terms of finding meaningful connections?
Unlike Tinder's fast-paced swiping that often prioritizes photos, Fuse encourages deeper engagement by putting text front and center, with features like Icebreaker Questions and Smart Matching. This results in more intentional interactions and a higher chance of forming genuine connections rather than just collecting matches.
