Features Worth Noting

The clothing catalog is genuinely massive. You get everything from vintage band tees to elaborate ball gowns, and they update it every couple of weeks with new seasonal stuff. The themed challenges rotate often enough that I haven’t gotten bored yet. I really like the voting system—it’s fast, and you earn currency just by reviewing other people’s outfits. There’s a chat feature, but I barely use it because it’s full of kids spamming emojis. On the technical side, the app runs smoothly on my S23 most of the time. What Needs Work

Let’s talk bugs. I’ve had outfits randomly unequip between the dressing room and the battle screen at least six times. That’s frustrating when you spent ten minutes perfecting a look. The layering is a mess—some tops clip through jackets, and shoes sometimes disappear under floor-length skirts. I’ve also noticed that the “recommended items” list for challenges often suggests pieces that don’t actually fit the theme. For a “beach party,” it tried to give me a fur coat. Also, the matchmaking feels off. I’m level 12, and I got paired against someone who was clearly level 40 with premium items. That’s not competitive—that’s a slaughter. The app also drains battery faster than I’d like. After an hour, my S23 was warm and down 30%. And the daily quests are repetitive. “Vote 10 times” and “change your avatar’s shoes” gets old quick.

Pricing

It’s free to download, and you can actually get a decent experience without spending a dime. I’ve never paid a cent, and I’ve unlocked plenty of clothes through voting and completing challenges. But there are definitely pay-to-win elements. The premium currency—diamonds—lets you buy exclusive limited-edition outfits that often have higher stats for scoring. You can earn diamonds slowly through daily logins, but it’s a grind. There are also “gacha” style mystery boxes that cost real money and give random items. I hate those. The battle pass (called the Style Pass) costs about $10 a month and gives you bonus rewards and exclusive pieces. I haven’t bought it because I refuse to feed the machine, but I can see why someone would. My advice: set a rule for yourself. Don’t buy diamonds impulsively after a loss.

Developer Notes

I contacted support once because my progress reset after a forced update. I sent a detailed message with screenshots, and it took them four days to get back to me. That’s a long time for a game that’s constantly asking for money. When they did reply, the agent was helpful and restored my items within a few hours. So the support team exists and can solve problems, but they’re slow. The app updates every two to three weeks, and the patch notes are vague—“bug fixes and performance improvements.” I’d love to see them actually acknowledge the clipping issues and the uneven matchmaking. They do listen to feedback on their social media though. I saw them reply to a comment about adding more plus-sized avatar options, and they said it was on the roadmap. That’s promising.

Security & Privacy

The app asks for access to your camera and photo library if you want to upload custom profile pictures. I denied both and the app still works fine, so that’s good. There’s also a microphone permission request for voice chat in the social hub—I denied that too. It tracks your activity for personalized ads, which is standard for free games. I checked the privacy policy, and they share data with third-party analytics companies. Nothing shocking. I recommend using a throwaway email or a login method that doesn’t tie to your main account, just in case. No major red flags, but I’m not thrilled about the data collection for a dress-up game.
