Best Guess Live
Do guests need to download the Best Guess Live app to play?
No, guests don't need the app at all. The host starts a game on their device and shares a link, which everyone else can open in their phone or laptop browser to join instantly.
What kind of game modes and categories does Best Guess Live offer?
The app includes guessing images, sounds, and answering funny 'Would You Rather' questions. There's also a 'Pass the Phone' mode for playing together in the same room, plus timed rounds that keep the energy up without feeling rushed.
What should I do if players can't join the game using the link?
First, double-check that the host's device has a stable internet connection and that the link was shared correctly. If the issue persists, try restarting the host's app and sending a fresh link, as this usually resolves connection hiccups for remote players.
Why is the game lagging or freezing during a round?
Lag is usually caused by a weak Wi-Fi or cellular signal on either the host's or a player's device. Ask everyone to move closer to their router or switch to a more stable network, and close any background apps that might be using data.
How does Best Guess Live compare to other party games like Jackbox Party Pack?
Unlike Jackbox, Best Guess Live is completely free with no hidden paywalls, and guests join via a simple link instead of needing a separate app or code. It also offers a 'Pass the Phone' mode for in-person play, making it more flexible for both remote and co-located groups.
