You can upgrade your plane’s firepower and armor using coins you earn in-game. There are also daily missions and events, which I appreciate because it gives me a reason to jump back in. User Experience

The controls are what you’d expect: drag your finger to move the plane, and it auto-fires. It works fine most of the time, but there have been moments on my OnePlus 11 where the touch response felt a little laggy—especially when I frantically swipe across the screen to avoid a bullet storm. The difficulty ramps up fast. Some levels I beat on the first try, other times I die thirty seconds in and get frustrated. But that’s kind of the point, right? It’s challenging. The screen isn’t cluttered with pop-ups for purchases every two seconds, though you do get the occasional ad after you die. That annoyed me at first, but you can watch an ad to revive your plane, which I’ll sometimes do if I’m close to beating a level. I’ve never spent money on it, and I’ve still unlocked a handful of planes and made progress through the levels pretty decently. But I can see how a kid might pressure a parent into buying a coin pack or a “legendary” plane. If you’re not careful with your phone settings, a child could easily tap to buy something, so parents should lock down in-app purchases in the device settings. I will say the ads after dying are a bit frequent, though not as annoying as some other free games I’ve tried. If you hate ads, you can pay a few bucks to get rid of them. My personal rule is: if my kids start asking for purchases, I delete the game.

Updates & Support

I’ve only contacted support once. That happened a few months ago when the game crashed repeatedly on my phone after an update—tapping the screen would freeze the whole thing. I emailed them through the app and got an automated reply saying someone would get back to me. That took three days. Then I got a one-line answer that basically said “try reinstalling.” Not rude, but not helpful either. I reinstalled, it worked again, but I didn’t feel like they really listened or cared. It took another week after that to get a follow-up email asking if my issue was resolved. So yeah, support feels slow and vague. If you have a serious problem, don’t expect a quick fix. Updates come every few months, usually adding new planes or seasonal events. That’s nice, but honestly, sometimes an update makes the game feel more laggy before it gets better.

As a parent, I always worry about what apps ask for. This one didn’t demand access to my contacts, camera, or anything creepy like that. It does ask for permission to send notifications, which I said no to, and it still worked fine. The privacy policy says they collect data like device info and how you play, which is pretty standard for free games. I didn’t see anything about sharing data with third parties for kids—so I don’t let my younger ones play this alone. I’d rather they watch me play than tap around themselves. It’s probably fine for older teens, but for little ones, I’d keep an eye on it. No weird ads popped up for dating or gambling stuff, which is a relief. It’s mostly other game ads or offers to buy coins. Still, I’d recommend reading their privacy policy if you’re concerned.
