YPT - Yeolpumta
How does the map-based browsing feature work?
The map lets you zoom into your local neighborhood to see items for sale nearby, instead of browsing nationwide listings. This allows for convenient, same-day pickups without any shipping costs or delays.
Is there a secure way to pay for items within the YPT app?
Yes, YPT offers a secure in-app payment system for transactions. This provides a safer alternative to carrying and handing over large amounts of cash during in-person meetups.
What should I do if my chat notifications aren't clearing properly?
If you experience a persistent chat notification glitch, use the in-app support form to report the issue. The support team typically follows up with a personalized solution after an initial automated confirmation.
Are there any fees for selling items on YPT?
No, YPT is completely free for sellers and does not take a commission from your sales. You keep 100% of the money from items you sell, though the app does display non-intrusive banner ads.
How does YPT differ from other platforms like Facebook Marketplace?
Unlike Facebook Marketplace, YPT is specifically designed for hyper-local, map-based discovery and has a dedicated, streamlined interface for buying and selling. It also emphasizes community and item longevity over social media integration, and charges no seller fees.
