UAGC Talon Mobile
What are the main features of the UAGC Talon Mobile app?
The app allows you to view your course list, read announcements, check grades, and see a calendar of due dates. It also sends push notifications for graded assignments, which is a key convenience feature for staying updated.
Can I reliably view course materials like PDFs and lecture slides in the app?
The app often struggles with loading documents like PDFs and slides, frequently freezing or showing a spinning wheel. Many users find it faster to use their phone's browser to access the full UAGC website for viewing course content.
How do I fix the app when it freezes or won't load content?
First, try closing and restarting the app, as performance issues are common. If a specific document won't load, your best immediate fix is to log into the UAGC student portal via your mobile browser instead.
What should I do if I need support and don't get a timely response?
Be prepared for potentially slow support, as responses can take several days. For urgent issues, it's recommended to contact UAGC support through their official website or student portal directly, rather than relying solely on the in-app support option.
Is the UAGC Talon Mobile app better than using the mobile browser?
The app is primarily useful for quick grade notifications and checking basic course info. However, for reliably viewing materials, posting discussions, or any detailed work, the mobile browser version of the UAGC portal is generally faster and more stable.
