Treasure hunts and expeditions are weekly events that offer fresh puzzles with unique rules, like spawning anchors only on certain colors. You can access them from the main menu, and they provide a fun break from the regular levels. Just be aware that treasure hunts can sometimes glitch and fail to register your progress, requiring a restart.

The Collection feature lets you gather cute stamps or postcards by completing sets of levels, giving you a rewarding goal to work toward. It’s a great motivator when you’re stuck on a tough level, as it encourages you to keep playing through earlier stages. You can view your progress in the Collections tab from the main menu.

Stuttering can occur on dense levels with many obstacles like anchors, fire, and ice, especially on older devices or after long play sessions. To fix it, try closing other apps, restarting Two Dots, or lowering your phone’s display refresh rate if possible. If the issue persists, check for app updates or reinstall the app.

If an ad crashes the app, especially during a critical run, force-close Two Dots and reopen it—your progress should be saved up to the last completed level. For treasure hunt glitches where progress isn’t registered, try restarting the app and replaying the level. If problems continue, contact support via the in-game settings.

Unlike Candy Crush’s match-three mechanics, Two Dots uses a unique swipe-to-connect system with no diagonal moves, making it more about spatial strategy. It also has a cleaner, artsy design and a more relaxed soundtrack, but it shares the same heart-based energy system and intrusive ads. For a more challenging and minimalist puzzle experience, Two Dots stands out, but it can be just as addictive and frustrating.
