Tixr: Live Event Tickets
How does Tixr's checkout process show fees upfront?
When you select your tickets, Tixr displays the full price with all fees broken down immediately, so there are no surprise charges at the final step. This means you see the exact total from the moment you choose your seats, making the buying process transparent and efficient.
What does the 'Nearby' tab do in Tixr?
The 'Nearby' tab surfaces events at smaller venues, like pop-up jazz nights or local art walks, that you might not find on bigger platforms. It's perfect for finding something to do this weekend without needing to plan weeks in advance.
Why isn't Tixr showing any results when I search for a city by name?
The search function is very literal, so typing just 'Portland' may yield no results. To fix this, try typing the full city and state, like 'Portland, Oregon,' to get the listings you need.
What should I do if my tickets don't appear instantly in the app after purchase?
Tixr's digital wallet is designed to show tickets immediately with large, clear barcodes. If they don't appear, try closing and reopening the app or checking your internet connection, then contact Tixr support if the issue persists.
How does Tixr compare to other ticket apps like Ticketmaster?
Unlike Ticketmaster, which often hides fees until the last step, Tixr shows the full price upfront and offers a smoother checkout process. However, Tixr focuses more on smaller local events and may not have as many major arena tours as bigger competitors.
