Threads
How do I see only posts from people I follow on Threads?
You need to enable the 'Following' feed in the app's settings. Once turned on, your feed will show posts only from accounts you follow, without suggested content or random celebrities.
Can I send direct messages (DMs) within the Threads app?
No, Threads does not have a built-in direct messaging feature. To continue a conversation privately, you must switch over to Instagram Direct Messages, as the apps are linked.
What should I do if I have an account issue or bug in Threads?
Many users report issues in app store reviews. Official support responses are often generic. For account-specific problems, check the in-app help section or contact support through your linked Instagram account.
Why is my Threads feed so quiet or inactive?
Your Threads feed is tied to your Instagram network. If the people you follow on Instagram are not active on Threads, your feed will have less content. You may need to find and follow more active Threads users.
How does Threads compare to Twitter (X) for a casual user?
Threads offers a simpler, more chill vibe with a chronological 'Following' feed and a 500-character limit. Unlike Twitter, it lacks direct messaging and its activity depends heavily on your existing Instagram network.
