Study Bunny: Focus Timer
What are the core features of Study Bunny: Focus Timer?
The app is primarily a Pomodoro timer with customizable work and break durations. It includes a basic to-do list, a digital bunny pet you can dress up with earned coins, and a few ambient sound options like rain to help you focus.
How does the bunny pet and reward system work?
When you complete a focus session, you earn coins and carrots. Coins are used to buy accessories for your bunny in the shop, while carrots are used to 'feed' it with a simple tap. This small reward loop creates a sense of accountability and makes starting a study session easier.
Is Study Bunny: Focus Timer really free, and are there ads?
Yes, the app is completely free with no advertisements. You can earn all standard shop items through studying. There are only optional, non-intrusive one-time purchases for special cosmetic themes, with no subscription fees.
How often is the app updated, and is it well-supported?
The app receives occasional, stable updates that typically add new cosmetic items or fix bugs. The developer responds to reviews and maintains the app without adding bloat or new subscription tiers, indicating good long-term support.
How does Study Bunny compare to other popular focus timer apps like Forest?
Unlike Forest, which uses a tree-growing metaphor and may have a purchase price, Study Bunny is completely free and centers on a customizable pet for motivation. Both use gamification, but Study Bunny focuses more on a personal, reward-based partnership with your bunny.
