There's a campaign story mode, dungeons that test your lineup, a PvP arena where you battle real players, and a clan system where you join groups to fight giant bosses together. Even if you lose in PvP, you still get rewards for trying.

The game is designed with frequent pop-ups for limited-time offers, energy timers, and special events to encourage spending. To avoid feeling pressured, stick to the free daily quests and ignore the purchase prompts—you can still progress without paying.

The constant timers and event countdowns are intentional to keep you engaged. Set a specific time each day for your daily quests (about 15 minutes) and resist checking in between sessions—turning off notifications can also help break the habit.

RAID has much more detailed console-quality graphics and a deeper champion customization system, but it's also more aggressive with in-app purchase prompts. AFK Arena is more casual and less demanding of your time, while RAID requires more active strategy and frequent logins.
