Platzi - Cursos online
What are the standout features of the Platzi app for learning?
The app offers structured learning paths, like the School of Web Development, that bundle courses logically. Key features include live classes with working professionals, interactive quizzes with code exercises, and the ability to download courses for offline viewing.
How do the live classes work in the Platzi app?
You can join live classes on-demand or participate in real-time sessions. During live classes, you can ask instructors specific questions directly, similar to a mini-conference, which provides immediate, practical answers.
What should I do if I experience video stuttering during a live class?
If the video stutters, especially during peak times, try switching your connection from Wi-Fi to cellular data or vice versa. This simple fix typically resolves the streaming issue, as noted in the review.
What happens if a course certificate doesn't generate properly?
Use the in-app chat support to report the issue. While response times may not be instant (around 6 hours in one case), the support agents are helpful and can manually trigger the certificate generation to resolve the problem.
How does Platzi's subscription model compare to buying individual courses on other platforms?
Platzi uses a monthly or annual subscription that grants all-access to its entire catalog, including regularly updated courses. This can be more cost-effective than purchasing individual courses elsewhere, especially if you plan to take multiple classes.
