ONLYFUN: Random Video Chat
What filters does ONLYFUN offer for finding people to chat with?
ONLYFUN provides location and gender filters, so you can connect with people in specific countries or regions. For example, setting it to "Italy" can land you a real conversation with someone in Rome, which makes the app feel more targeted than random.
Are there any icebreaker features to help start a conversation?
Yes, the app includes in-app icebreaker games like a drawing game that can help break the tension with quiet users. One user found it effective with a person from Finland, turning an awkward silence into a fun interaction.
Why does the video quality sometimes get pixelated or drop on 5G?
ONLYFUN’s video quality is generally good on WiFi, but switching to 5G can cause pixelation or dropped calls, even on phones like the OnePlus 11 that handle other video apps fine. This seems to be a network optimization issue with the app, so sticking to WiFi or a strong signal may help.
I keep getting blank screens or heavy breathing on calls. What can I do?
This is a known matching lottery issue—sometimes you get genuine people, other times blank screens or creepy audio. Use the block and report buttons that appear right under the video feed during a call to instantly remove problematic users, and consider that free users may encounter more questionable connections due to the paid priority matching system.
How does ONLYFUN compare to other random chat apps like Omegle or Chatroulette?
ONLYFUN stands out with its working location and gender filters, plus built-in icebreaker games that most competitors ignore. However, it shares the same random matching lottery and can suffer from video quality drops on mobile data, whereas older apps may have more stable connections but lack these modern features.
