OAN Live
Can I download shows from OAN Live to watch offline?
Yes, OAN Live supports offline downloads. You can download longer interview shows and they will play back perfectly without an internet connection, making it a great feature for commuting or traveling to areas with poor cell service.
Does the app offer picture-in-picture mode for multitasking?
Picture-in-Picture mode is available, but it can be problematic. On some devices like the OnePlus 11, the feature may not work smoothly, so you might struggle to keep the stream playing while checking other apps.
The video library is just a long list—how can I find specific content?
Unfortunately, the app lacks filters to sort the video library by length or date, so you'll have to scroll through an endless list. This makes finding quick news clips or specific segments frustrating and time-consuming.
Why does the video take a few seconds to load with a blank screen?
This is a common issue caused by the app's dated interface. When you select a video from the library, there’s often a delay with a blank screen before playback starts, which can be annoying but typically resolves on its own.
How does OAN Live compare to other news streaming apps like Newsmax?
OAN Live's core live stream is more reliable than many competitors, with no freezing even on spotty Wi-Fi. However, its user interface feels much more basic and clunky, lacking the polished navigation and search filters that apps like Newsmax offer.
