Now VPN - Fast Secure Proxy
How do I connect to a server and switch locations in Now VPN?
Just tap the big 'Connect' button on the home screen to automatically connect to the fastest server. If you want to switch locations, you can pick a server from the list—like the US, UK, Germany, or Japan—and the app will reconnect instantly without you having to disconnect first.
Does Now VPN have a built-in ad blocker?
Yes, there's a basic ad blocker you can turn on in the app's settings. It works well for blocking pop-ups on news sites, but it's not a perfect shield against all ads, so you might still see some.
What should I do if Now VPN disconnects when switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data?
This can happen when your phone changes networks. The app usually reconnects automatically, but if it doesn't, just tap the 'Connect' button again to manually restore your VPN connection.
Why is my streaming video buffering on Now VPN?
Buffering can happen during peak internet usage times, even with a VPN. Try switching to a different server—like from the US to the UK—using the in-app list, which often resolves the issue quickly.
How does Now VPN compare to other free VPNs like ProtonVPN?
Now VPN is simpler to use with a one-tap connect button and faster initial connection times—under three seconds in our tests. While ProtonVPN offers more advanced privacy features, Now VPN is better for quick, no-fuss browsing and casual streaming without complicated settings.
