Novelaria - Read Book, Booktok
How do the Smart Recommendations work in Novelaria?
The app tracks what you read and suggests similar books based on themes, mood, and genre. For example, after finishing several dark academia novels, my feed filled with moody campus mysteries instead of generic mystery picks.
Can I watch BookTok-style videos and read books in the same app?
Yes, the integrated BookTok community lets you scroll video reviews and debates right next to the book's download button. This makes it easy to discover trending titles and avoid boring picks without switching apps.
The app feels cluttered and busy—how can I navigate it more easily?
Take a few minutes to explore the home screen layout; the trending books, your current read, and personalized picks are all grouped clearly. Once you learn where each section is, the visual busyness becomes much less overwhelming.
Why are there ads, and can I remove them?
Novelaria is free to download and use, so ads appear as banners or short videos to support the app. There's no paid tier mentioned yet, but the ads are non-intrusive and don't interrupt your reading sessions.
How does Novelaria compare to Goodreads for tracking reading?
Novelaria combines a reading tracker with a built-in BookTok community, so you can watch video reviews and discuss endings without leaving the app. Goodreads is better for detailed reviews and long-form lists, but Novelaria feels more social and visually engaging.
