NHA Parent Portal
What can I see in the NHA Parent Portal for my child's grades?
You can tap into each class to view individual assignments and their status. This helped one parent catch a missing worksheet for their daughter on a Friday afternoon, allowing them to submit it online before the weekend.
Does the app include a way to pay for school items like book fair purchases?
The app has a payment link feature, but it opens in a tiny, hard-to-use window inside the app. Many users find they need to copy the link and open it in a separate browser like Chrome to complete the transaction.
Why is logging into the NHA Parent Portal so difficult on my iPhone?
The login screen requires your web portal password, and the keyboard on iPhone 15 models often covers half the login box, making it frustrating to enter credentials. The app also feels slower and less modern than expected once you're in.
The assignment list on the NHA Parent Portal stutters when I scroll. How can I fix this?
This is a known performance issue with the app that isn't easily fixed on your end. You can try closing and reopening the app, but for smoother browsing, consider checking grades and assignments through the web portal in a mobile browser instead.
How does the NHA Parent Portal compare to other school apps like PowerSchool?
Unlike PowerSchool, which often feels more polished and responsive, the NHA Parent Portal has a clunky login and occasional scrolling stutters. However, it does combine grades, attendance, and teacher messages in one place, which PowerSchool sometimes requires separate apps or logins to manage.
