NBC - Watch Full TV Episodes
Can I download episodes to watch offline on the NBC app?
Yes, the NBC app includes an offline download feature. You can save select episodes to your device, which is perfect for flights or areas with spotty internet, as long as you've logged in with a TV provider.
Does the NBC app let you watch live TV, like sports or news?
Absolutely. The app offers a live stream of your local NBC affiliate, which is great for football season, election nights, or breaking news. The stream is reliable and only a few seconds behind the live broadcast.
Why does the NBC app sometimes lose my place in an episode?
This is a known glitch where switching to another app can cause the NBC app to forget your progress. To avoid this, try not to multitask heavily while watching, and manually note the timestamp as a backup.
What can I do if the NBC app shows limited content without a TV provider login?
Without a TV provider login, you'll only see a small selection of recent episodes with lots of ads. Linking a cable or satellite account unlocks the full library, including older seasons and exclusive clips, though standard ads still play.
How does the NBC app compare to Hulu for watching NBC shows?
The NBC app is free and great for catching next-day episodes of current shows, but it requires a TV provider login for full access and has more ads. Hulu offers a larger on-demand library without a cable login, but it costs $7.99 a month for its ad-supported plan.
