MetroNovel - Let Stories Shine
Can I read stories offline in MetroNovel?
Yes, MetroNovel offers offline reading, which is perfect for subway commutes or areas with spotty service. You can download stories to your device and read them anytime without an internet connection.
How does the annotation feature work for readers?
You can highlight any passage in a story and add a personal note, like 'Great character intro!' These annotations are visible to other readers, creating a shared reading experience where you can see what others found noteworthy.
The home feed is overwhelming with too many stories. How can I find what I want?
Start by using the filter options to narrow down by genre and status, such as 'Completed Fantasy.' Following your favorite authors will also personalize your feed, making it much easier to discover stories you'll enjoy.
The app crashed while loading a long story. Is there a fix for this?
This can happen with very lengthy stories or those with many embedded images. Try restarting the app and clearing its cache in your device settings. If the issue persists, report the specific story to support so they can optimize it.
How does MetroNovel compare to big ebook stores like Amazon Kindle?
Unlike polished stores like Kindle, MetroNovel is a social platform where anyone can post their work, giving you raw, passionate writing and hidden gems. You won't find bestsellers, but you'll get a lively community, annotations, and direct interaction with authors.
