Mahjong Fun
What board layouts are available in Mahjong Fun?
Mahjong Fun offers several different board shapes beyond the classic turtle setup, including a pyramid layout that provides a nice change of pace. The tiles are bright and easy to distinguish on modern screens, making each layout enjoyable to play.
Is there a daily puzzle feature in Mahjong Fun?
Yes, the app includes a daily puzzle that you can play each morning for a quick brain teaser. It works well as a short challenge, but be prepared for a full-screen video ad to play immediately after you solve it.
Why do I keep seeing full-screen video ads after every game?
Mahjong Fun forces a loud, unskippable full-screen video ad after every single round, whether you win or lose. This is the app's only monetization method, and there is no option to watch an ad for a bonus or hint instead.
Can I turn off the sound on the ads in Mahjong Fun?
There is no in-app setting to mute ad audio, so the ads will play sound automatically even if your phone is on silent. To avoid disturbing others in quiet places, you may need to manually lower your device's media volume before finishing a puzzle.
How does Mahjong Fun compare to other free Mahjong solitaire apps?
Most free Mahjong apps include some ads, but Mahjong Fun stands out for its aggressive frequency—ads pop up after every single board, not just occasionally. Competitors like Mahjong Solitaire often let you play several rounds before showing an ad, making Mahjong Fun feel much more disruptive.
