Legacy - Reawakening
Can I attach photos and record audio stories directly in the app?
Yes, you can attach photos directly from your phone’s gallery and even record voice stories, like a relative telling a memory, right inside the app. It makes building a rich family history simple and personal.
How does the collaboration feature work for family members in different states?
You can invite family members to collaborate on your family tree, and they can add branches, photos, and stories from their own devices. Changes sync instantly via cloud backup, so everyone stays up to date.
What should I do if the app stutters or lags when loading high-resolution images?
This is rare and usually happens with very large scanned documents on older phones. Try resizing the image before uploading, or close other apps to free up memory—daily browsing and text entry should remain smooth.
I'm not tech-savvy—will I find the family tree builder difficult to use?
Not at all. The drag-and-drop interface is intuitive, and the app includes helpful storytelling prompts to spark memories. Most users, even beginners, can start building their tree in minutes without a learning curve.
How does Legacy - Reawakening compare to free family tree apps like Ancestry or FamilySearch?
Unlike many free apps that lock core features behind subscriptions, Legacy - Reawakening is a one-time $2.99 purchase with no in-app purchases. It focuses on creating a beautiful digital scrapbook with storytelling prompts and collaboration, though it lacks the massive public databases of competitors.
