IELTS Practice Band 9
What are the standout features of the IELTS Practice Band 9 app?
The app provides immediate access to full practice tests with clear audio for Listening and excellent Band 9 model essays for Writing. It also includes a simple progress tracker to visualize your score improvements over time.
Does the app offer useful feedback for the Speaking section?
No, the Speaking practice only lets you record yourself and listen to a sample answer. It does not provide any analysis or feedback on your pronunciation, grammar, or fluency.
Why does the app sometimes not work offline, and is there a fix?
The app requires a constant internet connection to function, so it will not work in areas with poor signal. Currently, there is no offline mode available, so you must ensure you have a stable connection to use it.
How disruptive are the ads, and can they be removed?
The app shows banner ads that can sometimes refresh with distracting animations during practice. The review does not mention a paid ad-removal option, so they are a persistent part of the free experience.
How does this app compare to other free IELTS prep apps?
This app excels with its high-quality, immediate practice tests and model essays, which is great for self-study. However, unlike some competitors, it lacks interactive feedback for Speaking and requires an internet connection for all content.
