GIFs: Share Animated Fun
Can I search for GIFs using very specific phrases?
Yes, the search feature handles even very specific, quirky phrases. For example, searching for 'stuck in traffic losing my mind' pulls up a relevant movie clip, so you can find the perfect reaction for any situation.
Is it really free to create my own GIFs without watermarks or paywalls?
Absolutely. You can turn a video from your camera roll into a GIF in about a minute, and there are no watermarks or paywalls to export it. The create-your-own tool is simple but effective.
What should I do if GIFs take a long time to load?
Slow loading is usually caused by a weak Wi-Fi or cellular connection. If your connection is spotty, GIFs may take an extra second or two to appear. Moving to a stronger signal area or reconnecting to Wi-Fi usually fixes it.
The keyboard doesn't open right away in my messaging app. How can I fix this?
Make sure the GIF keyboard is enabled in your device's keyboard settings. Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards, and add 'GIFs: Share Animated Fun' if it isn't already listed. Once it's there, switching to it from your Messages app should work instantly.
How does this app compare to using GIPHY?
While GIPHY also offers a huge library, this app stands out because its create-your-own tool has no watermarks or paywalls, and it's slightly more intuitive for daily use. The search also handles very specific phrases well, making it feel more reactive to your exact mood.
