Foot Direct - live score
What features does Foot Direct offer for following live matches?
Foot Direct allows you to set favorite teams and leagues, view live text commentary, and see basic match stats like possession and shots. It also sends notifications for line-ups and kick-off times. However, its core live score function is reported to be unreliable.
Does Foot Direct have a paid version to remove advertisements?
No, Foot Direct is completely free with no premium or paid version available to remove ads. The app relies on aggressive advertising, including full-screen video ads and intrusive banners, which significantly impact the user experience.
Why are the live scores in Foot Direct sometimes incorrect or frozen?
Users report frequent glitches where scores don't update in real-time and match timers can get stuck. This is a common app stability issue. The developer's generic update notes suggest ongoing problems, so restarting the app is the only suggested fix.
How can I stop the intrusive full-screen video ads in Foot Direct?
There is no in-app setting to disable these ads, as the app lacks a premium tier. The full-screen videos play automatically and can cause the app to freeze. Your only option is to wait for the ad to finish or force-close the application.
How does Foot Direct compare to other live score apps regarding reliability?
Compared to more stable competitors, Foot Direct is criticized for its ad-heavy design and unreliable score updates. Many users find that other free apps offer a better balance of advertisements and accurate, real-time information without the frequent glitches.
