Flashcards World
How does the 'smart review' feature work in Flashcards World?
After reviewing a card, you rate your knowledge. The app then schedules future reviews based on that rating, showing difficult cards more frequently and easy ones less often. This helps you focus on your weak spots and study more efficiently.
Can I use Flashcards World without an internet connection?
Yes, the app works completely offline, making it ideal for studying in areas with poor connectivity, like during a commute. All core functions, including reviewing and creating cards, are available without an internet connection.
What should I do if my progress doesn't sync properly between devices?
Try closing and reopening the app on both devices to force a sync update. If the problem persists, ensure you are logged into the same account and check your internet connection, as syncing issues were noted in the review.
How do I fix audio recordings that cut off during pronunciation practice?
First, try clearing the app's cache from your device settings. If the issue continues, contact support with your phone model and app version, as they provided a specific, helpful fix for this problem in the past.
How does Flashcards World compare to other flashcard apps regarding cost?
Unlike many apps that limit free features or push subscriptions, Flashcards World offers unlimited cards, images, and smart reviews for free. It is ad-supported but avoids interrupting ads, making it a strong free alternative for students on a budget.
