Double Money
What can I track with Double Money?
You can log daily expenses by entering an amount and a category, like coffee or snacks. It's designed for quick, manual entry of small purchases, but it won't sync with your bank or offer advanced budgeting tools.
Does Double Money have goal-setting features?
Yes, but it's very basic. You set a savings target and a progress bar fills up when you log savings, with no projections or interest calculations included.
Why won't my monthly total update after I edit an old entry?
This is a known bug where editing a past month's entry doesn't refresh the monthly total unless you force-close the app. Try restarting the app to see the correct amount.
My home screen widget stopped updating. How can I fix it?
The widget can sometimes show stale data, like it did for a week last November. To fix it, remove the widget, restart your phone, and add it again from the widget menu.
How does Double Money compare to Mint?
Double Money is much simpler than Mint—it only tracks manually entered expenses with no bank syncing. Mint offers automatic transaction imports and detailed budgeting insights, while Double Money is just a digital notepad with a pie chart.
