The app's dashboard shows your classes, new grades, and upcoming assignments all on one screen. You also get push notifications for important deadlines, and you can use the library feature to look up and email articles to yourself.

You can read everything in the app, but typing long discussion posts on a phone keyboard can be tedious. Most users find it easier to use the app for checking assignments and grades, then switch to a computer for writing.

This can happen when you're not on a strong Wi-Fi connection, like at a doctor's office. If the app freezes, try clearing its cache in your phone's settings, which has fixed the issue for many users.

Some users have reported being signed out unexpectedly, which means you'll need to re-enter your password. There isn't a permanent fix available yet, but closing and reopening the app often helps until a future update improves session memory.

CTU Student Mobile is designed specifically for CTU students, so it shows your classes and grades right on the main screen without extra navigation. Canvas Student is more general and may require more tapping to find the same info, but it's better for typing long posts or accessing detailed course materials.
