Craft World
Can I search for projects based on specific materials or progress stage?
Yes, the search function is quite robust. You can filter projects by exact material, estimated time, and even by 'in-progress' status, which lets you see how others troubleshoot tricky steps.
What kind of community features does Craft World offer?
The community feed is a highlight, featuring real project posts including fails and works-in-progress. You can ask questions in comments and get practical help from other crafters, like sourcing specific supplies or dye lot details.
Why does my app stutter when scrolling through long feeds?
This is a known bug, especially on devices like the iPhone 14. The stutter tends to worsen with extended use, but it's not a deal-breaker; the developers are likely working on performance improvements.
I keep losing my project posts when uploading photos. What can I do?
This is a common issue where the app crashes after you've spent time drafting a detailed post with step photos. To avoid losing work, consider composing longer posts in a separate notes app and copying them in, or uploading in smaller batches.
How does Craft World compare to Pinterest for project tracking?
Unlike Pinterest, which is mostly passive inspiration browsing, Craft World is built for active project tracking and community feedback. You can post detailed progress, get specific help from serious crafters, and participate in challenges, making it much more hands-on.
