Buy'r

Buy'r offers price comparison across multiple online retailers, a barcode scanner for in-store price checks, and a wishlist that sends you alerts when prices drop. These tools help you find the best deals and avoid overpaying on both online and in-store purchases.

You add items you want but don’t need immediately to your wishlist, and Buy'r monitors their prices for you. When a price drops, you get a push notification with the exact new price and how it compares to the item’s lowest historical price, so you know it’s a good time to buy.

The product search can be finicky if you don’t use the exact model name, sometimes returning similar but not identical items. To avoid this, always double-check the details like model number and specifications before relying on the price comparison.

If the barcode scanner doesn’t find a match, try typing the product name manually into the search bar instead. This can help you find the item or a very similar one, though you’ll still want to verify the details to ensure accuracy.

Unlike Honey, which focuses on applying coupon codes at checkout, Buy'r is built around proactive price tracking and in-store barcode scanning. Buy'r is also completely free with no subscription tiers, while Honey has a rewards program that can sometimes feel less direct for deal hunters.
