AstraNovel - Infinite Books
How does the recommendation engine work in AstraNovel?
The recommendation engine learns from the books you read and suggests similar titles, especially hidden gems in your favorite genres like fantasy romance. It's not perfect, but it gets better the more you use it, helping you discover new indie authors alongside popular books.
Can I read books offline in AstraNovel?
Yes, you can download individual chapters or whole books for offline reading, which is perfect for subway commutes or areas with spotty Wi-Fi. Just download your content before you leave, and you can pick up right where you left off without any interruptions.
Why is my library so overwhelming, and how can I focus on what to read next?
AstraNovel offers a massive library, which can feel overwhelming at first, but the app helps by putting a 'Continue Reading' section and a 'Recommended For You' section right at the top of the home screen. Use those to stay focused on your current reads and personalized suggestions instead of browsing everything.
The app opens to my current read, but how do I find the note-taking feature?
While reading, simply tap and hold on a passage to highlight it, and a menu will pop up allowing you to add a note or thought right there. This makes it easy to save quotes and ideas for book club discussions without needing a separate notebook.
How does AstraNovel compare to other free reading apps like Wattpad?
Unlike Wattpad, which focuses heavily on user-generated and often unfinished stories, AstraNovel offers a more polished library with a mix of popular titles and hidden indie gems, all accessible for free. Its recommendation engine also feels more tailored to your tastes, and the offline reading and note-taking features are more robust for a seamless reading experience.
