Academic IELTS Help
How does the speaking practice feature work in the Academic IELTS Help app?
The app provides a speaking prompt and allows you to record yourself for two minutes. After recording, it gives you specific feedback, such as noting overused phrases or frequent pauses, to help you improve.
What is the structure of the vocabulary section in the app?
Vocabulary words are organized into practical, thematic groups like 'health' or 'cities'. This grouping makes it easier to learn and remember words in context for the IELTS test.
How can I review my answers after completing a practice test?
After a test, you must scroll down through all your answers and then scroll further to see the correct ones. Some users find this inconvenient as the answers aren't side-by-side for easy comparison.
Are there any intrusive advertisements in the free version of the app?
The app shows a small ad bar at the bottom of the screen. However, after finishing a long practice test, a full-screen video ad plays, which some users find disruptive after a period of concentration.
How does Academic IELTS Help compare to other IELTS apps in terms of user interface?
Unlike some apps that can be cluttered or confusing after updates, this app has a simple, clear interface with four main buttons for each skill. It's designed for straightforward navigation without complex menus.
