Can I customize my app layout and hide unwanted apps with this launcher?

I sometimes trigger a spinning animation instead of opening an app. How can I fix this?

Unlike Nova Launcher's premium model for advanced features, this app provides a robust visual experience at no cost, though it may have fewer granular customization settings.
